Last week the EPA finalized its long-delayed rule to standardize the cost-benefit analysis the agency uses to assess proposed rules.

At the top of the list of agencies that object to the strictures of cost-benefit analysis is the EPA.

The cavalier approach often exhibited towards the Executive Order at EPA reduces the quality of the analysis on major rules and, as a result, worsens the quality of regulations.
