UPS-backed Roadie and its fleet of 200,000 independent drivers are helping retailers like Home Depot bring packages to your doorstep.
Gorlin boasts that Roadie was late on less than 5% of its deliveries in the week following Black Friday, traditionally one of the busiest shopping days of the year.
In 2017, Home Depot, also based in Atlanta, started using Roadie drivers to offer same-day delivery of small items like tools, hardware and paint from roughly 700 of its stores.
The home improvement giant invested in Roadie in 2019 and now offers same-day delivery through it at more than 1,600 stores.
