Pakistan is to spot the second lunar eclipse of 2020 tomorrow as according to the Institute of Space Science and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), the country will behold the beauty of lunar eclipse from 5 June at 10:56 pm.
This shall be the second among the four penumbral lunar eclipse of this year in Pakistan on the intervening night of June 5 and June 6.
Basically, there are a total of three types of a lunar eclipse – first one is termed as total lunar eclipse, second one is partial lunar eclipse and the third is referred to as penumbral lunar eclipse.
During the lunar eclipse Pakistan will be witnessing, the 90 percent of the moon’s surface will be party covered by the Earth with only the outer part of the shadow appearing.
So in total, there will be four lunar eclipses throughout the year 2020.
