We all have a favourite entry in any long-running video game series, and when it comes to Nintendo's life simulation Animal Crossing it's likely no different.
It seems the Animal Crossing: New Horizons director Aya Kyogoku completely understands this and makes sure to respect the "memories and affection" players have for older entries.
In saying this, during each development cycle of a new Animal Crossing game, the team always aims to outdo the previous entry.
